Open the bonnet of the CITIGOe iV and you’ll find a 61 kW electric motor powering the front wheels. The second part of the system features a 36.8 kWh battery in the chassis floor. The key benefits of electric vehicles are that they emit no emissions, they run silently, and servicing them is not so complex.
Enjoy every drive with the nimble CITIGOe iV, offering torque of up to 210 Nm from standstill. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 12.5 seconds and has a top speed of 130 km/h. Extend the range by selecting the ECO or ECO+ mode to influence the vehicle settings, the air-conditioning, the heating and other systems.
You can easily charge your batteries at home or on the road with special chargers. Using a conventional household outlet with maximum power of 2.3 kW, you can use the standard-fit cable to charge the CITIGOe iV to 80% of its battery capacity in 12 hours and 37 minutes. By a 7.2 kW wall box and recharging will take just four hours and eight minutes. Both of these charging methods use AC, which is what you will find in your household sockets.
If you have set off on a trip and you need to recharge quickly, use a third type of charger, the CCS (Combined Charging System), which uses DC to deliver much more power – as much as 40 kW. A fast charger will recharge a flat battery to 80% capacity in just one hour.
Inching forward a bit at a time, lane switching, etc. The CITIGOe iV’s job is to make this easier for you. Lane Assist recognises any unintended departure from the lane and initiates corrective steering. It is activated if there are recognisable lane markings on the road surface and the turn signal has not been turned on.
The CITIGOe iV´s excellent manoeuvrability makes parking child’s play. Three parking sensors integrated into the rear bumper offer assistance by checking the car’s distance from any obstacles.
