We first lined up to race in 1901, and success soon followed. That rich racing heritage has paved the way for even greater achievements today. Our journey began with motorcycle endurance racing and has taken us all the way to the world of rallying. This is a landmark year for us: together, we are celebrating 125 years of Škoda Motorsport. Our first motorsport successes
We entered the world of motorsport in 1901 and soon claimed our first victories. We began by racing motorcycles. Then, after unveiling the Voiturette A, our first car, in 1905, we began competing on four wheels too.
Škoda Fabia RS Rally2
Developed for the Rally2 category, the Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 combines best-in-class aerodynamics with the production model’s highly rigid body structure. It also features advances in its powertrain, electronics, safety systems, and handling, together with a turbocharged 1.6-litre engine derived from the EA888 family of TSI petrol engines also used in RS models. Introduced in early 2025, the “Packet 25” upgrade package enhances performance, reliability, and crew comfort, helping the car to compete for the top positions.
Private teams
The success of our rally car has attracted the attention of private teams too. It’s easy to see why. Who wouldn’t want to compete in the world’s most successful rally car in its class? More than 175 customer teams around the world have already bought the car. Across the Škoda Fabia Rally2 family, we have delivered more than 700 cars in total, making us the leading supplier of Rally2 cars.
More than 3,300 victories
Over its career to date, the Škoda Fabia Rally2 has competed in thousands of rallies worldwide. Since 2015, the Škoda Fabia Rally2, Škoda Fabia Rally2 evo, and Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 have together claimed more than 3,300 rally victories and more than 8,400 podium finishes.
Safety in motorsport
In motorsport, safety is non-negotiable. It is fundamental.
Each Škoda Motorsport rally car is designed to maximise crew protection, with a rigid roll cage, precisely specified seats and safety harnesses, and strict compliance with FIA regulations. Safety in rallying goes far beyond the car itself. It depends on an entire system of manufacturing processes, inspections, clearly defined standards, and the discipline needed to protect crews even in extreme conditions. This is what allows motorsport to push the boundaries of performance without compromising crew protection.
Škoda Enyaq RS Race
This fully electric racing car concept, based on the production Škoda Enyaq Coupé RS, demonstrates how sustainable solutions can be applied in motorsport. It draws on the brand’s motorsport DNA and supports the development of advanced technologies and materials. Lightweight construction and the use of composite components have reduced its weight by more than 300 kg compared with the production model. The concept showcases Škoda Motorsport’s work and marks another step towards a more sustainable future.

Innovation on the track and greater responsibility for the future
Škoda Motorsport has achieved the highest level of FIA Environmental Accreditation, based on an assessment covering 17 areas. Specific measures include returning 70 kg of 3D-printing waste to production, reducing volatile organic compound emissions by 18.4% over five years, and cutting the amount of plastic used in packaging by 180 kg a year.

Customer programme
The extensive customer programme is a key part of Škoda Motorsport’s activities.
To date, we have delivered more than 700 Škoda Fabia Rally2, Škoda Fabia Rally2 evo, and Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 cars to private teams worldwide. This has made us the leading supplier of Rally2 cars since 2016. Looking after so many cars brings greater responsibility, which is why supporting our customer teams is now one of our main focuses.
This support centres on high-quality service, including technical support during rallies, a reliable supply of spare parts, and ongoing communication to understand each team’s needs. We also offer engine, gearbox, and damper rebuilds, recommended set-ups for different types of rally, and, of course, information on all technical changes. The quality of our customer service and the high reliability of our cars are the two most important factors in the success of the customer programme. Teams can also access our support on site at many rounds of the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC), the FIA European Rally Championship (ERC), and selected national championships. At these events, we provide recommended car set-ups tailored to each rally. Our Škoda Motorsport support truck, stocked with spare parts, is also available at selected WRC and ERC rounds.
Škoda eRally Cup
Through the Škoda eRally Cup, we are bringing our own rally series to the world of esports. The series comprises several standalone tournaments that open in turn throughout the year. It uses the EA SPORTS WRC game, allowing players to test their skills against one another on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5.
