This accessibility information has been compiled by Škoda Auto a.s. (hereinafter as "we") in accordance with Directive (EU) 2019/882 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 April 2019 on the accessibility requirements for products and services, and Act No. 424/2023 Coll., on the accessibility requirements for certain products and services, as amended (hereinafter as "Accessibility Requirements Act").

We want our digital services to be accessible to a wide range of customers, including those with disabilities and other functional limitations. For this reason, we continuously update our services to comply with accessibility requirements under current legislation, standards, technical specifications, and the latest best practice requirements.

This accessibility information provides a general overview of how our services work, describes how we meet accessibility requirements, and includes contact details for anyone who has questions about the accessibility of our services. This information is provided in accordance with § 14 of the Accessibility Requirements Act.

A. General Description of Services

We are an e-commerce service provider within the meaning of the Accessibility Requirements Act. This means that our company can enter into a distance contract with you via our website or mobile applications without your physical presence. This information on accessibility applies to the following websites and mobile applications and to the e-commerce services we provide through them:

a) eshop.skoda-auto.cz

It is an e-commerce service that consists of the operatio of an online shop that allows users to search, browse, select and purchase goods online (Škoda Lifestyle and Genuine Accessories).

The service includes features such as: product catalogue (including filtering and searching), detailed view of individual items, adding goods to the basket, online conclusion of a purchase agreement (click-wrap mechanism - the user enters into the agreement by actively clicking a button such as ‘Order’ after reviewing the terms and conditions), online payment, communication with customer support.

The service is accessible via the web interface at the above address and is optimised for use on computers and mobile devices.

We do not use any specialized equipment that would be necessary to access this service. Users may use their own device (e.g. computer, mobile phone or tablet) to access the service. Our digital interface is designed to be interoperable with standard assistive technologies.

b) Škoda ID

Škoda ID is a digital user account that allows individual users to access our online services. The service provides a centralized login to the vehicle's digital functions and to web and mobile application MyŠkoda.

Using the Škoda ID, users can manage their personal profile, link their account to a specific vehicle, activate and use selected online vehicle functions, access remote vehicle controls (e.g. air conditioning, locking), monitor vehicle status information and driving statistics, and manage service subscriptions.

The service is provided via a web interface and a mobile application.

We do not use any specialized equipment that would be necessary to access this service. Users may use their own device (e.g. computer, mobile phone or tablet) to access the service. Our digital interface is designed to be interoperable with standard assistive technologies.

c) Škoda Connect

Škoda Connect is a suite of online services that links your Škoda vehicle to the internet and your smartphone, offering enhanced convenience, safety, and infotainment. It provides features like real-time traffic updates, remote vehicle access (e.g., lock/unlock, parking position), emergency call assistance, and proactive service reminders.

The service is provided via a web interface, a mobile app and an on-board infotainment system. When using the devices we provide, we ensure that their physical controls and software interfaces comply with accessibility requirements and are compatible with assistive technologies.

d) Mobile application MyŠkoda, Škoda Media Room

MyŠkoda is a digital service and mobile application that allows users to access vehicle information and control it remotely. Through the service, users can monitor the technical condition of the vehicle, plan routes, manage charging (in the case of an electric car), use connected services (e.g. Powerpass) and personalize vehicle settings.

Škoda Media Room is a mobile information application designed especially for journalists, media and the general public interested in what is happening around our brand. It provides access to up-to-date press releases, multimedia materials, podcasts and other official information about our products, innovations, results and activities.

We do not use any specialized equipment that would be necessary to access this service. Users may use their own device (e.g. computer, mobile phone or tablet) to access the service. Our digital interface is designed to be interoperable with standard assistive technologies.


B. Compliance with Accessibility Requirements

Websites, including related online applications and services provided on mobile devices, including mobile applications, identification functions and methods for identification and electronic signatures, are perceivable, operable, understandable and stable.

Accessibility requirements are in accordance with harmonized standard EN 301 549 and standard WCAG 2.1.

The website and mobile applications are not accessible within the meaning of the law where we do not provide electronic commerce services, i.e. in those parts of the website and mobile applications that are not part of the process of concluding a distance contract with a consumer (for example, purely informative parts of the website and mobile applications).

However, even in these parts of the website and mobile applications, we strive to make them accessible to the widest possible range of our customers.
