The Škoda Octavia has become a popular choice and a bestseller in our portfolio. It has been the top-selling company car in its category in Europe for over ten years, making it a mainstay of our fleet business. Fleet customers appreciate its reliability, spaciousness, and presentable appearance. The Octavia also offers high-quality workmanship and advanced solutions that enhance comfort and safety.
Available in liftback and estate body styles, as well as Sportline and RS versions, the Octavia continues to build on its predecessors’ success. Since its launch in 1996, over 7 million Octavias have been produced, making it Škoda’s best-selling model. In 2023, fleet customers, attracted by its practicality, good looks, and low running costs, accounted for 87% of total Octavia sales.
Channel shares
The vast majority of Octavia cars are for fleet customers – last year, 87 out of every 100 cars produced. Most of these (77) go to “True Fleets” customers, including corporate, business, public administration, and leasing company cars. The smaller share is for car rental companies and cars registered internally by manufacturer and dealers.

Popular across Europe for a long time, the Škoda Octavia regularly tops the list of best-selling cars in its class in the EU21. It also leads the segment with the highest number of “True Fleets” registrations.

Design and interior
Customers can choose from four trim levels: Essence, Selection, Sportline, and RS. There are also nine Design Selections: Studio, Loft, Lodge, Lounge, Suite Black, Suite Cognac, Sportline, RS Fabric, and RS Suedia, along with optional themed equipment packages. Selected interior elements are finished in Unique Dark Chrome.
Other available features include modern infotainment systems with touchscreen displays up to 13 inches, a 10-inch Digital Display, and fast wireless charging (15 W) with active ventilation.
Safety features
Each new generation of the Octavia places a major emphasis on both passive and active safety. The car’s safety systems are designed to prevent accidents or mitigate their consequences if they occur. The latest revised model has expanded its range of driver-assistance systems, making driving even safer.
Economical and Sustainable
The Octavia offers several configurations with four-cylinder engines, both petrol and diesel. The range includes two variants of the 1.5 TSI engine (110 kW and 85 kW), both available as mild-hybrids with DSG automatic transmission.
A 2.0 TDI diesel engine (85 or 110 kW) completes the range. In early 2025, a 150 kW 2.0 TSI petrol engine with all-wheel drive will be available. The sporty Octavia RS features a 195 kW 2.0 TSI engine with DSG transmission.
Sustainability is evident with increased use of recycled materials and environmentally friendly leather in the Suite interiors.
