Design of the ŠKODA Yeti
Explore the distinct appearance of the ŠKODA Yeti More...
Design of the ŠKODA Yeti The uniqueness and charm of the Yeti’s appearance has taken on a new dimension following its facelift in the spirit of ŠKODA’s current design language. The crisp shapes of the headlamps command respect and lend the car dignity. Below the distinctive grille, the bumper is dominated by a wide air intake rounded off with a sleek spoiler. The rear section is characterized by the Cubist triangular creases of the number plate area.

The design reflects the environment in which the vehicle will be found most often. The Yeti gives the sleek impression of an urban crossover-type SUV. In this spirit, most of the visible elements, such as side mouldings, door sills and the lower parts of both bumpers, are painted in the body colour.

Safety is not just a feeling
Active and passive safety More...
Safety is not just a feeling New safety benchmarks include up to 9 airbags to protect passengers in the front and rear seats. Recognised by the Euro NCAP 2009 with the award of five stars.

Technologically, one of the Yeti’s most interesting active safety features is the use of bi-xenon headlamps with LED daytime running lights and curve lighting. These are better at illuminating bends and therefore help the driver to detect hazards more quickly.

The drive assists (ABS, MSR, HBA, EBD, ESBS, ASR, ESC, EDL, AFM and DSR) improve the handling of the vehicle in extreme situations. The brake lights flash during heavy braking and the warning lights are then automatically deployed, providing an urgent warning to the car behind and reducing the risk of rear impact.

The most comfortable way to park More...
See rearwards Drivers who find it hard to accurately judge the length of a parking space will greatly appreciate the Automatic Parking Assistant. It will also help to manoeuvre the car into the parking space itself.

After a simple press of a button, a car equipped with the Automatic Parking Assistant is able to find a large enough gap between parked cars. When a suitable gap (the length of the car plus 60 cm) is found, the car asks the driver to shift into reverse and then parks almost by itself. The car’s electronics turn the steering wheel, while the driver adjusts the speed using the pedals. The Automatic Parking Assistant communicates with the driver through voice instructions and symbols on the Maxi DOT display.

Parking is made even easier by the Optical Parking Assistant with a camera in the handle of the tailgate which displays the area behind the vehicle and features a line of travel the width of the vehicle. It is for the first time you can enjoy this feature in a ŠKODA car.

Interior as your personal space
There are many ways the Yeti’s interior can be individualized. More...
Interior as your personal space There are many ways in which the Yeti’s interior can be individualised. It comes in four different model lines: the Active, Ambition, Elegance and L&K. Seventeen different colour combinations are available for the instrument panel, upholstery and trim.

The electrically sliding front panel of the panoramic roof provides a sense of liberty and freedom of movement. The front section can also be tipped for interior ventilation. At the touch of a button, a blind covers the whole of the panoramic roof, preventing the interior from overheating on hot summer days.

SUV goes green
Low emission value More...
SUV goes green The ŠKODA Yeti beats its competitors not only in terms of dynamics, but also leaves them trailing with its meagre fuel consumption and low CO2 emissions.

There are two different ways to reduce the fuel consumption and emission value to a minimum. Both guarantee economical operation while maintaining dynamic driving.

The Yeti GreenLine is the most environmentally friendly model. The Green tec package is delivered with the 1.4 TSI/90 kW, 1.6 TDI/77 kW DSG or 2.0 TDI/103 kW engine. Features include the Start-Stop system, energy recovery functionality and special tyres.

Flexible more than expected
Excellent variability and enough space for everything More...
Flexible more than expected The three separate rear seats offer variable layouts. Each can be arranged separately and the angle of each backrest is adjustable. The outer seats can slide backwards and forwards. The middle seat can be removed and the outer seats can be moved towards the centre, thus creating exceptional amounts of extra room for two rear passengers.

Fixing system in the luggage compartment together with horizontal strips and sliding hooks offers multi-optional arrangement options: hanging of shopping bags even larger luggage, net attachment or fixation of mid-level luggage compartment floor.

The floor of the luggage space is available in three different options. For example the version with the mid-level compartment floor, which offers easy luggage manipulation, or the version with the raised compartment floor for the tyre reserve where the embarkation rim is at the same level as the floor is.
