Since 2016

The presentation of the CITIGOᵉ iV and the SUPERB iV sees ŠKODA enter the era of electromobility in 2019. Under ŠKODA iV label it bundles the development of its own family of electrified cars sporting an emotive design, a futuristic interior and innovative technologies, as well as the establishment of a special ecosystem for mobility solutions.

2016

The Mladá Boleslav plant celerates the 25th anniversary of the partnership of the ŠKODA brand and the VW group. The new model ŠKODA KODIAQ was introduced, which kicked off an extensive offensive of sport utility vehicles of the ŠKODA brand.

2017

At Shanghai Motor Show, a study was presented of a vehicle with purely electric drive, ŠKODA VISION E. Production was launched of the new SUV ŠKODA KAROQ.

2018

ŠKODA AUTO produced its millionth SUV! The world premiere of a new model – the ŠKODA SCALA – took place. ŠKODA Motorsport seized control of the WRC 2 category in the World Rally Championship series.

2019

World premiere of the ŠKODA KAMIQ, a city SUV. ŠKODA AUTO produced its 22 millionth car (since 1905). The brand introduced its first electrified models, the ŠKODA CITIGOe iV and ŠKODA SUPERB ŠKODA AUTO delivered 1.24 million vehicles to customers around the world.

2020

The most widely anticipated milestone at ŠKODA in 2020 was the ENYAQ iV, ŠKODA’s first all-electric SUV. ŠKODA celebrated 125 years of its history, and a global pandemic had a huge impact on our lives.

2021

A year full of anniversaries. ŠKODA celebrated its 30-year affiliation with the Volkswagen Group, the company looked back on 120 years of success in motorsports and it was commemorating the market launch of the first modern OCTAVIA generation 25 years ago and the debut of the SUPERB 20 years ago.
