We provide you with functional communication with us primarily through the following channels within the purpose of processing:

  • Phone line
  • E-mail
  • Chat on ŠKODA AUTO website (video chat a text chat)
  • Social networks (especially Facebook)

You can contact us via the channels above for any questions, demands, complaints, requests for assistance under the provided assistance service, or you can contact us through the provided ŠKODA Connect service in your car. We keep a written record (log) on our mutual communication, which contains your contact details (especially the phone number from which you are calling the info-line) and information about the content of our mutual communication, which in some cases may also include your identification data and technical data about the vehicle concerned, such as when providing assistance services.

If the subject of our communication is your request for assistance, we will pass your personal information to a member of our distribution network or a company providing contractual assistance services and its distribution network in the closest area, in order for this service to be provided.

If you contact us through the telephone line from the phone number saved in our client database, the operator will display also the information from this database for the above purpose. If you contact us through a telephone line, we also record and keep the text and voice recording. If you contact us via chat, we record and keep the text and video recording. The records are archived with very limited access rights, and it is not possible to systematically search in them.
