Škoda Auto Pay to Fuel

Price reduction campaign conditions - In-car payment when paying with Mastercard

This information applies to the fuel price reduction campaign "Škoda Auto Pay to Fuel - In-car payment for payment with Mastercard" (hereinafter referred to as "fuel price reduction campaign" or „Campaign“).

Campaign Provider

The provider of this Fuel price reduction campaign is Škoda Auto a.s., with registered office at tř. Václava Klementa 869, 293 01 Mladá Boleslav, Czech Republic (hereinafter the „Škoda Auto“).

Conditions for Granting the Fuel Price Reduction

Škoda ID and Connect Services Agreement:

In order to participate in the Campaign, you must have a Škoda ID account, accept the conditions for Skoda Connect services and activate Pay to Fuel service.

Registered Payment Card:

You must have a registered Mastercard (credit or debit) in MyŠkoda application and payment for refueling must be made using this registered card.

Participating Petrol Stations:

The campaign is valid only at petrol stations supporting Pay to Fuel service. Their full list is available in the link.

Minimum Fuel Limit:

In order to be eligible for the discount, you must refuel at least 20 litres of fuel in one transaction.

Discount Eligibility:

€10 discount will be applied to the first, second, and third Skoda Pay to Fuel transaction(s) using Mastercard. The maximum discount in the Campaign is €30. Each individual discount will be applied immediately and will be visible on the invoice.

Please note that cash payout is not possible and the price reduction is not transferable. Also note that currently there are no other discounts for fuel within the Pay to Fuel service.

End of Campaign:

The campaign will continue until either the allocated campaign amount will be reached or the campaign end date, which is June 30, 2024 at 11:59 pm. If the campaign ends early, you will be informed.

Sponsor of the Fuel Price Reduction Campaign

The fuel price reduction is sponsored by Mastercard Europe SA, 198 A, Chaussée de Tervuren, 1410 Waterloo, Belgium.

A distribution of the price reduction in cash is excluded.

Exclusion from the Fuel Price Reduction Promotion

In case of violation of the terms listed in here, manipulation or attempted manipulation, you will be excluded from the fuel price reduction promotion.

Infringement of Third-Party Rights

You shall indemnify Škoda Auto from all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs (including the costs incurred for legal defense) and expenses arising out of or resulting from the infringement of third-party rights.

Further claims for damages shall remain unaffected.

Modification and Termination Reservation

Škoda Auto expressly reserves the right to change or adapt the terms listed in here at any time, in whole or in part, with effect for the future. This may change the course of the Fuel price reduction campaign particularly.

Škoda Auto has the right to terminate or cancel the Campaign at any time at its own discretion without observing any deadlines. Termination may occur in particular if it is not possible to guarantee proper implementation for technical reasons (e.g. due to manipulation or computer viruses) or for legal reasons (e.g. prohibition by the platform operator or government authorities). No claims for fulfillment or damages can be derived from a premature termination.

Changes or the termination of the Fuel price reduction campaign will be shared at proper place.

Information on Data Processing

For this Fuel price reduction campaign, there is no data collected beyond the data gathered as part of the Pay to Fuel service.

Disclaimer

Except in the case of gross negligence and willful misconduct, Skoda Auto shall not be liable for any damage, loss or impairment resulting from limiting or preventing your ability to participate in this Fuel price reduction campaign. Likewise, Skoda Auto shall be liable only in case of gross negligence and intent for damages, losses or impairments resulting from the provision of the fuel price reduction, the receipt or use of it. Liability for damages arising from injury to life, body, health or material contractual obligations shall remain unaffected by the above limitations and exclusions of liability.

Material contractual obligations are all obligations whose fulfillment is a prerequisite for the execution of the contract and on whose fulfillment you can regularly rely.

Final Provisions

The law of Czech Republic shall apply exclusively.

If you are a consumer, Škoda Auto is only able to take legal action against you before the court responsible for the area in which you have your domicile or normal place of residence. You are able to take legal action against Škoda Auto at the court responsible for the area in which we have our domicile or registered seat or in any other legally approved jurisdiction.

In accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) No 524/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 May 2013, you are entitled to use the out-of-court resolution of disputes through the intervention of an ADR entity listed in Article 20 (2) of Directive 2013/11/EU and using the platform for Online Dispute Resolution. This platform is available at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/main/?event=main.adr.show2.

If individual provisions of these terms for the granting of a fuel price reduction are invalid in whole or in part or contain a gap, the other provisions shall remain unaffected. Ineffective or incomplete provisions shall be maintained with an effective content that comes closest to the ineffective content in terms of its meaning.
