With ŠKODA Connectivity, you’ll never be cut off from the outside world. Wherever you are, you will remain at the heart of the action, always keep in touch with your nearest and dearest, and have the assurance that help is at hand to overcome any difficulties. No matter where you roam, stay connected.
With each ŠKODA model, you can take your pick of several infotainment systems up to a size of 13”. They all work quickly and offer numerous functions and interfaces.
The SUPERB iV and the new OCTAVIA are alone in offering the latest-generation 9.2” or 10” Columbus infotainment system with enhanced connectivity, 3D navigation, up to 5 USB-C ports and wireless SmartLink. The built-in eSIM ensures that you are always online. The OCTAVIA adds the option of playing online radio stations and streaming services, zooming in on a map or controlling the volume with the touch-slider.
The 9.2” Columbus infotainment offers the greatest entertainment and utility value, featuring gesture control, Wi-Fi hotspot with LTE connection, a DVD player, an SSD drive for maps, and 3D navigation. All ŠKODA Connect services can be ordered as an optional extra. You’ll find the Columbus system in the SUPERB, KODIAQ and KAROQ.
The SCALA and KAMIQ feature the all-new Amundsen infotainment system. The free-standing 9.2” display sits higher up, directly in the driver's field of vision. Advanced features include 3D navigation, texting directly in the system, gesture control and the optional Wireless SmartLink and ŠKODA Sound System. An originally designed version can also be found in the SUPERB iV.
Depending on the model, the Amundsen infotainment system is available as a 6.5” or 8”. What makes it particularly attractive is its navigation system, Bluetooth connection, voice control and Wi-Fi hotspot. All standard ŠKODA Connect services are optional with this infotainment system. The Amundsen system is available for the SUPERB, KODIAQ, KAROQ and FABIA.
The new-generation glass-design Bolero system with 8” display is now positioned higher and incorporates a wealth of music and connectivity equipment: Bluetooth, 8 speakers, selected ŠKODA Connect or SmartLink services. Optional advanced features include Virtual Cockpit or the inductive-charging Phone Box. You’ll find the improved Bolero system in the SCALA and KAMIQ.
The 8” Bolero system featuring Bluetooth hands-free with text message management makes life easier for the driver. Connectivity options are rounded off by the SmartLink+ interface, SD card slot and USB port. This system supports Care Connect and Emergency Call. You’ll find it in the SUPERB, KODIAQ and KAROQ.
You’ll find the Swing Plus system exclusively in the FABIA. It is controlled via 6.5" colour touchscreen with a high resolution of 800×480 pixels. The Swing Plus infotainment offers the SmartLink+ and Bluetooth for convenient connection of your smartphone. The advanced 6-speaker ŠKODA Surround audio system rounds off the offer.
The Swing infotainment system in the SCALA, KAMIQ and the new OCTAVIA is a step forward in ergonomics and functionality. The free-standing 6.5” or 8.25” touchscreen sits right in the driver's field of vision. Its four front speakers are joined by AM/FM radio, Car Menu and two backlit USB-C connectors. eCall and Proactive Service are standard in selected countries.
The Swing infotainment system is built into most ŠKODAs and conveys information on displays up to 6.5” in size. Use the Phone Box with inductive charging, a USB port or Bluetooth to connect and charge your smartphone. You can play music on up to eight speakers or on the ŠKODA Surround system. You can optionally order the Care Connect and Emergency Call service packages.
The Blues infotainment system looks after entertainment onboard the FABIA. In addition to the radio, the sleek design is underscored by SD card and USB connectors, which also support Apple devices.
You can keep the maps in your navigation infotainment system up-to-date by using the Update Portal.
