The production of the modernized “one hundred and twenties”, of the 105/120/130 model range, was finally terminated in 1990.

A completely new vehicle, the Škoda Favorit, had its world premiere at the trade fair in Brno.

The final appearance of the Favorit was the work of the legendary Italian designer Bertone.

Other versions were the Forman estate wagon and the utility pick-up. The basic engine for the Favorit was an OHV four-cylinder with a cubic capacity of 1289 cc and from 40 to 50 kW.
