Another innovation appeared in 1969. The new Škoda 100/110 model was however more or less a major facelift of the previous model.

The vehicle received a more modern body, disc brakes on the front wheels, the interior was innovated; the engine remained as it was.

So the Škoda 100 was created from the Škoda 1000 MB and the 1100 MB model became the 110.
