Your children’s safety in the rear seats is increased further when you install an ISOFIX Child seat; installed, directly into the body of the new Octavia are special ISOFIX fixtures for two baby seats. All Octavia vehicles are compatible with ISOFIX seats that connect securely to these fixture points. You can rely on their quality and functionality – they have undergone extensive safety tests just like our vehicles.
Disconnecting the front passenger’s airbag – do you drive alone with your youngest offspring? In the new Octavia, you have the option of placing the baby in the front seat after deactivating the front passenger airbag.
The new Octavia features modern electronic safety systems as standard that improve the safety and comfort of driving. The most important feature of this system is the anti-lock-brake system (ABS) with brake assistant. EBV, MSR, and ASR systems are also active. Optional safety equipment includes ESP (Electronic Stability Program) and a TPM (Tyre Pressure Monitoring) system.
