At your very first glance you can see the quality in every aspect of Roomster’s design: the mask with its original headlights, the panoramic windscreen, the shaping of the front and rear door windows, the taillights and the panoramic roof window.

Some of the finer points of the design: the fog lights with cornering functionality or the headlights with their active turning system may not be evident at first glance, but you will be excited when they shine round a bend in the road! Let’s take a look at everything the Roomster has for you!

The active fog light system with cornering functionality knows when you are going to turn ( with a speed up to 40km/h) and will slowly shine a fog light in the direction you are manoeuvring; it can light up the road from an angle of -30 to +60° (horizontally) and  from 0° to 10° (vertically)!

Turning is therefore safer; in particular there is less chance of you hitting darkened objects, such as parked vehicles, pedestrians or cyclists. After you complete the turn, the light slowly goes out.

In addition to the main halogen lights, the Roomster also offers the option of differently designed projection headlights with an H7 halogen bulb and the optical system used in xenon headlights (projection through a lens).

From a safety point of view, headlights with an active turning system are an alternative to projection headlights. From a speed of 3 km/h the headlights turn in the same direction as the car up to an angle of 15°.

In addition to their undoubtedly important safety function, the large taillights are also one of the most marked unifying design elements for the Škoda line.

Just as found on the Octavia, when driving with the lights switched on, a characteristic “C” is clearly visible in the middle of the rear lights.

The Roomster signals a completely new era in the development of the Škoda line and this is fully confirmed in the mask. Quite functional, but also positively aggressive and elegant, giving rise to enthusiasm and at the same time a feeling of safety and security.

It is not accidental that the unmistakeably unifying line of the whole side of the car starts at its chrome bar and ends at the rear lights.

Getting in and out to the back seat is made easy by the unique profile of the rear side doors, which go all the way to the edge of the roof.

Between the lower edge of the door window and the third side window you can find a cleverly sunken door handle, which does not interfere with the lines at the back of the car.

We at Skoda have given a lot of thought to the individual appearance of your Roomster.  All you have to do is to choose between a set of all-new steel wheels and wheel covers or cast aluminium wheels.

Drive more safely; order the TPM system for monitoring your tyre pressure. You will be alerted to a fall in the tyre pressure by a control light on the dashboard and an audio signal.
