The SUV Yeti promises fun and joy. It is very compact thanks to its dimensions. Its design places it apart from all the aggressive and flamboyant automobiles. It makes a friendly impression and is at the same time self-confident and provocative. In terms of shapes, the designers in many aspects followed up on the success of the Roomster study. General emphasis was placed on maintenance of the stylish elements typical of the brand.
The bodywork is designed in such a way that it need not be washed everyday, and withstand some scratches. Yeti must simply be beautiful even after many years of operation. The front is dominated by large headlamps with high foglights and a robust resistant bumper. The designers took full advantage of creative freedom when designing the wipers. At rest position, they merge with the lines of the A-pillar. Thanks to the symmetrical windscreen and two parallel orbits, they can very quickly move over the full width and vertical height of the glass. The wide sidelines with pronounced edges, or the lacquered B-columns with typical radiuses accentuate the stability and robustness. The white roof with centre glass symbolises playfulness and lightness. The permeating light creates a pleasant atmosphere inside the vehicle.
The design of the full interior is subordinated to the purpose of an SUV, and is in many aspects inspired by the world of sport. All the control elements are designed for comfortable operation even when wearing gloves. The centre console, moreover, has a liquid container with two pullout tubes. The GPS navigation is removable and portable; it can thus be used even outside the vehicle. Oddments may be hanged on the ingenious hanger system between the seats. Also practical is the floor in the form of a plastic tub, which in addition has strips on the loading area to prevent scratching.
