Additional body versions of the Fabia model appeared; the Fabia Combi estate had its world premiere in 2000 (the Sedan version in 2001).

In 2001 Škoda expanded its manufacturing programme by a third model range; the manufacture of the largest model, the luxury Superb limousine was launched in the new manufacturing plants in Kvasiny.

The Octavia model finally saw its successor in 2004. The New Škoda Octavia, manufactured in liftback and Combi estate versions (and also with 4x4 drive), is the most modern model in the brand’s manufacturing programme The RS sporting version will be on offer at the end of 2005.

Thanks to its qualities the new Octavia has acquired a number of international awards, including the prestigious title of Automobile of the Year in several European countries.
