The interior of the Škoda Superb is so spacious that you can easily get lost. It provides maximum comfort and safety to all the passengers. The imposing size of the interior is, however, not the only reason why travelling in the Superb is so comfortable. A number of witty details take care of you.
The dominant element in the interior is the dashboard with ergonomically shaped steering wheel (leather from the Comfort version). The wide centre console already in the standard Classic version offers mechanical air-conditioning. The large display of the navigation system with TV tuner comfortably fits beside it. All the controls are positioned in such a way that they are always within reach. The decorative fine materials finish that you find, not only on the centre console, but also the door panels or the frames of the air vents create a pleasant sense of luxury. In the Classic version, this concerns the Volcano black lacquer finish; in higher equipment categories you find the Nicro matte metallic finish or the exclusive Vavona wood finish. The upper section of the dashboard is always in Black Onyx colour. The colour of the lower section may be combined with the colour of the chosen upholstery to ensure that everything suits your taste.
In each part of the interior you find a lot of good and original ideas. An excellent example may be the folding back of the front passenger’s seat, which serves as a leg support for the passenger in the rear. What about the, so-called, WetCase, containing an umbrella in the left rear door, designed in such a way that the water from the wet umbrella flows out of the vehicle? The driver and passengers shall appreciate the comfortable elbow rest between the seats, which covers the, so-called, Travel-Box, an air-conditioned storage compartment, which keeps drinks and food cold even on long journeys.
